South Africa’s magnificent wildlife heritage has been preserved by the national parks & the small group of private landowners whose properties form part of the greater Kruger Park conservation area. Recognizing the wanton destruction of habitat elsewhere on the continent, these landowners preserved & protected our wildlife for the benefit of future generations. Apart from superb wildlife sightings, the region offers clients an insight into bush lore & man’s inter-dependence with nature. Lodges vary from comfortable en-suite to 5-star luxury & are acknowledged as some of Africa’s finest safari experiences. Day-to-day activities vary slightly between lodges ... all include game drives in open safari vehicles with experienced game rangers keen to impart their knowledge & love of Africa’s bush to their clients. Kruger National Park is restricted re off-road activities & night drives; private game reserves generally have a lot more flexibility. Most game lodges do not accept or have restrictive policies re young children – details must be checked at time of booking.

Day 1: Flight from Johannesburg
Morning flight from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit or Skukuza; transfer direct to the game lodge of your choice in time for lunch. Late afternoon game drive. Stop for sundowners before continuing at night with the assistance of powerful spotlights. Return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 2: Game Drive

Early game drive, usually lasting close to 3 hours. Return for breakfast & time to relax, swim, read etc. Lunch & a rest during the heat of the day. Late afternoon/evening game drive followed by dinner.

Day 3: Early Game Drive
Early game drive & breakfast. Transfer to the airport for the return flight to Johannesburg.
