North East India Tour

For many years Sikkim was regarded as one of the last Shangri - la owing to its remoteness, spectacular mountain terrain, varried flora and fauna and ancient Monastries. Sikkim is one of the most colourful States of Himalayan belt.

Day 01:Delhi
Tour of Delhi visiting Jamia Mosque, Red Fort, Ghandi Samadi, India gate, drive pass President house, Himayan Tomb, Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple. Overnight Stay in Delhi.

Day 02:Delhi-Agra
In the morning leave for Agra by road, enroute visiting the Tomb of Akbar at Sikandara. In the afternoon tour the enthralling city of the Taj and savour the myriad attractions that Agra offers.

Day 03:Drive Back to Delhi.
City tour in the afternoon.

Day 04: Delhi-Bagdogra-Darjeeling
Transfer to airport for flight to Bagdogra, on arrival meet and transfer to Hotel in Darjeling. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: Darjeeling
Tour of Darjeeling including sunrise view form tiger hill (2,585m), Ghoom Monastery, Tibetan Handicraft Centre and visit to tea gardens. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04:Darjeeling Pemayangste
Drive through Melli, towns of Jorethang and Gayzing. On arrival, check in at Hotel. Later visit to Pemayangste Monastery.

Day 05: Pemayangste-Gangtok
Visit the Sangacholing Monastery and later drive to Gangtok, the capital of Skkim , en route visit the tea plantation and factory at Temi Tarku. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06: Gangtok
Tour of Gangtok visiting the Enchey Monastery deer park, the tibetan Handicraft centre, Do-rul-chorten, and an excursion to Rumtek Monastery. Later in the evening a visit to the local vegetable market. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 07: Gangtok-Phodang-Gangtok
Excursion to Phodang Monastery, built in 1704. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 08: Gangtok-Kalimpong
Drive to Kalimpong, on arrival in Kalimpong check in Hotel. afternoon tour of monastries and flower nurseries.

Day 09: Kalimpong-Bagdogra-Delhi
Drive to Bagdogra for connecting fligt to Delhi, on arrival in Delhi transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 10: Depart- Delhi
Transfer to airport for flight to onwards journey.
