We avoid duplicating any region by taking the mountanious inland route on the first day, returning via the national coastal road Convenient lunch stops are made en-route.

Day 1: Oudtshoorn
Overland along the mountainous highland route to Oudtshoorn; tour of a working Ostrich Farm, Cango Caves and Cheetah and Crocodile Farm. Overnight at La Plume (3-star) or a similar character property.

Day 2: Leisure and Shopping time in Knysna

Cross the Outeniqua Mountains to the coast. Morning Choo-tjoe train; leisure & shopping time in Knysna, the heart of the Garden Route; afternoon lagoon cruise; dinner & overnight at Far Hills Hotel (or similar).

Day 3: Leisurely Drive
Enjoy a leisurely drive via George airport (for those flying to Johannesburg) & the historic town of Swellendam. The tour ends late afternoon in Cape Town.
