Lotus Temple, Delhi, India Day 1 : Delhi
Arrive Delhi, met upon arrival at the international airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 : Delhi
Morning tour briefing and orientation followed by a full day sightseeing tour of New and Old Delhi.
New Delhi - visit 13th century minaret Qutab Minar one of the tallest tower of it's time, Humayun Tomb one of the forerunner of the Taj Mahal, Laxmi Narayan Temple, drive past India Gate and President House and other government buildings.
Old Delhi - Red Fort ultimate symbol of mighty Mughal empire, Jama Masjid one of the biggest mosque in India, Chandni Chowk bustling market place today once served as royal bazzar and Raj Ghat the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi the Father of The Nation.

Day 3 : Delhi to Agra
Morning depart Delhi by surface for Agra (200 km approx.). Arrive Agra and check in at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour or Agra.
Agra Fort - four of the mighty Mughal rulers controlled their vast empire from here. Wander around the palaces built by successive emperors, which represents the excellence of Mughal architecture. Fort also serves a vantage point to view the Taj Mahal from a distance and it is believed that the Emperor Shah Jahan spend his file days in exile watching the Taj from here.
Itmad-ud-daulah Tomb - built by Begam Nur Jahan wife of Jahangir, in the memory of her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg one of generals in Mughal army, who had been given the title of Itimad-ud-Daula (pillar of the state). Primarily built from red sandstone with marble decorations, this monument also elegantly displays white marble and pietra dura inlay which is considered to be one of the fore runner of the Taj Mahal.

Day 4 : Agra to Jaipur
Morning depart Agra by surface for Jaipur (232 km approx.) stopping by en route to visit the deserted capital of Fatehpur.
Fatehpur Sikri - Just 44 km away from Agra on the way to Jaipur is Fatehpur Sikri, which briefly served as capital of Emperor Akbar. It is believed that city was quickly abandoned due to lack of potable water. Palaces, meeting halls, courtyards inside the complex is in a remarkable state of preservation. Holy shrine of Saint Salim Chisti here is one of important pilgrimage for Muslims and Buland Darwaza which Emperor Akbar built to commemorate his victory on Gujarat is very imposing.
Arrive Jaipur and check in at hotel with rest of the day at leisure or free for optional activities.

Day 5 : Jaipur
Morning proceed on an excursion to Amber Fort and afternoon sightseeing tour of Jaipur city.
Amber Fort - Ancient capital of Kachhawaha Rajputs rulers of Jaipur, Amber guarded one of the important defiles from invading enemies. Wander inside the Fort to watch extravagant Palaces to witnessing the opulence of Rajaput royal lifestyle amongst which summer palace, winter palace and mirror palace etc. are the most popular. Climb atop the forts ramparts on an elephant back.
City Palace - Official residence of the present royal family City Palace covers a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens and buildings. A part of this Palace is a now a museum housing Armoury, Textiles and Artifacts. City Palace is delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture.
Jantar Mantar - This 17th century astronomical observatory is an excellent example of the marvelous precision wherein each construction has a specific purpose to measure the position of stars, altitudes and azimuths or calculating eclipses and some of them still works.

Day 6 : Jaipur to Delhi
Morning at leisure in Jaipur. Afternoon drive to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and check in at hotel.

Day 7 : Delhi to Kathmandu
In time transfer to the airport to board the flight for Kathmandu. Arrive Kathmandu and check in at hotel. Afternoon at leisure or free for optional activities.

Day 8 : Kathmandu

Durbar Square - Lies in the heart of old city of Kathmandu in Basantapur, this royal complex of residence of Nepal royal family till present palace (Narayanhiti Palace) was built. Darbar square was built by successive dynasties who ruled from this throne over the many centuries. Durbar square consists of about 50 temples, courtyards, main palace. Important ceremonies, including the coronation of the Nepali monarch, are held here.
Swoyambhunath - Believed to be built 2500 years ago, this stupa on the hilltop is revered both by Buddhists and Hindus.
Patan - Often referred as the open air art gallery of Nepal, Durbar Square complex of Patan houses the residence of the former Royal family of Patan. The Square and its surroundings provide very good example of ancient Newari architecture. One can witness intricately carved temples, palaces here.

Day 9 : Kathmandu
Early morning drive to Nagarkot to view snow capped mountains with breakfast. Later in the morning excursion to Bhaktapur. Afternoon visit Pashupatinath and Bouddhnath
Nagarkot - located on the elevated area 32 km from Kathmandu, Nagakot is one the most scenic spots and renowned for its spectacular sunrise view of the Himalaya. Topography of the place has blessed it with breathtaking view of panoramic mountain as well as enchanting Kathmandu valley. There is no doubt the Nagarkot one of the best spots around Kathmandu to view Mount Everest and adjacent peaks.
Bhaktapur - once realms of Malla kings Durbar Square most charming architectural showpieces highlights some of the finest medieval arts of Nepal. Fifty-five windowed palaces with Golden Gate to its entrance is the highlight of the visit to Bhaktapur, however statues of kings on stone monoliths, Lion Gate and the art gallery housing ancient paintings belonging to the Hindu and Buddhist traditions of various periods are some of the sites of interest here.
Pashupatinath - built on the bank of Bagmati River this pagoda style temple is one of the four most important religious sites in Asia for Shiva devotees. Built in 5th century and renovated by successive Malla Kings, this temple decorated with intricately carved panels, a gold-plated roof, four silver doors etc.
Bouddhnath - center for Tibetan culture in Nepal, this colossal 36 meter in height stupa is one of the largest stupas in South Asia and considered to be one of the oldest Buddhist stupas.

Day 10 : Kathmandu to Delhi and Depart
In time transfer to the airport to board the flight for Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to an airport hotel. In time transfer to international airport to board the flight for onward destination.
